UAE app different from US app?

Odd, I had the "PureVPN 2.0" app from the UAE store, wouldnt let me install certificates, then I download the "PureVPN" app from the US store, and now I can install certificates.

Does the "PureVPN 2.0" app have some restrictions on it? Would hate to think a service that toutes its privacy credentials would bow to UAE restrictions on VPNs.

US app is good though.
