UAE app different from US app?

Odd, I had the "PureVPN 2.0" app from the UAE store, wouldnt let me install certificates, then I download the "PureVPN" app from the US store, and now I can install certificates. Does the "PureVPN 2.0" app have some restrictions on it? Would hate to think a service that toutes its privacy credentials would bow to UAE restrictions on VPNs. US app is good though.

It doesnt work

The app connects to the wrong location.

No connection in China; customer service not helpful

Ive been a customer of PureVPN for nearly four years. Sadly it feels as though the app has become less and less reliable, and customer service less helpful. This company is based out of Hong Kong, and it would make sense that they are more sensitive to connectivity issues for their customers based within mainland China who rely on their service for basic email and communications with the outside world. Two days ago I received an email announcing they had fixed the connectivity problem for users in China. Upon opening the body of the email, turns out they only fixed it for 60% of their users. The link within the email supposedly offering troubleshooting advice for everyone else still experiencing connectivity issues (myself) pointed to a server that is blocked in China. How is this helpful? I contacted online support multiple times, and was just given a list of servers and told to try all settings manually; this, even after I contacted them again and said I had tried and was unable to connect with any of them. Its been more than two days that Ive not been able to connect. Im looking for another VPN service and will request a refund for the rest of my remaining contact with PureVPN as they no longer provide services within mainland China. Its quite disappointing; I used to enthusiastically recommend them to my fellow expats in Beijing, pointing out their great customer service and speciality dealing with the Great Firewall. Not sure whats happened recently to cause such a change in service within the company.

Stable

Stable fast connection. Better than free VPNs. You get what you pay for

yeah!!

this is what i need, free vpn, thanks for author.

Junk

Same problem as everyone else, it wont stay connected for long. Fix it. Still bad with the newest update. Do not buy subscription.

I used this Von

I used this com more 1 years . The best VPN for free.

Good Vpn

The best green in the store. Without ads. Have very fast speed!

Okay, but terrible service

This service worked OK, but when I had to cancel the recurring subscription fee after a few months they made it very difficult to do so and in fact despite assurances kept debiting money from my account. I then had to redouble my efforts to cancel the service. Part of the problem is that you cannot speak to anyone you have to do it all by email. The whole thing started to feel like a scam and is not reasonable when you have a job or other things you must do. There are other VPN services which I suspect are much easier to finance -- I would highly recommend using them instead.

Intuitive

Nice UI and the service works great.

Worst VPN ever

This is one of the worst vpn services ive ever tried.first of all it randomly disconnects, second it also disconnects when you put your phone in sleep mode. 3rd sometimes it doesnt want to connect at all,it takes forever and the connection drops.and 4th by now you already thought of skipping this one like i did.be like me,delete this crap and go for expressVPN

Perfect service

This is the BEST virtual private network service by far, insane speed, security, auto redials, no connectivity loss, just awesome, Its Pure. All I want now is an option to purchase dedicated IP and the nat firewall through apple, that would be OUT of the world!

No Good

It will connect, then randomly drop the connection a few minutes later. Does this ALL THE TIME.

Good, fast, needs auto-reconnect.

PureVPN: fast, IKEv2 encryption, doesnt reconnect automatically, Hong Kong based. Personally I dont like selecting a mode. I would prefer to simply pick the encryption type and server location. Others may prefer modes. Not a deal breaker, but it would be helpful if they described what each mode actually did e.g. Lets you select city, uses IKEv2 encryption etc. Summary of VPNs: Primarily I tested these VPNs on a slow 4G cell connection and a fast wifi using an iPad Air 2. iOS turns off VPN when devices go to sleep. In my experience it also disconnects the VPN when the Internet connection is unused for some time. For this reason the automatic reconnection feature is important to me. IPVanish: too glitchy, web sites often dont load the first time, causes apps to glitch sporadically, some servers function better than others. Speedtest app repeatedly glitched while running iPVanish. Slow on iOS cell and wifi, very fast on PC. Has IKEv2, but I dont use it because it was glitchy, so they recommended IPSec. They also recommended I try other servers. It does reconnect automatically. 6 months into one year subscription, but I dont use it anymore. On PC it works well in limited testing. TunnelBear: easy set up, reconnects automatically, 75% slower than PureVPN and YyprVPN. You cant select the server city within the U.S. which might explain the slow speed because it connects me to a server on the East Coast though Im testing on the West Coast. Are all of their servers in New York? Company based in Canada. VyprVPN: fast, easy set up, reconnects automatically, incorporated in Switzerland, app shows the speed of available servers, includes NAT firewall. While it is expensive this is my current favorite. All VPNs slow data speed so testing reflects how much impact they have. IPVanish cell slow--wifi very slow--PC very fast PureVPN cell fast--wifi fast TunnelBear cell slow--wifi slow VyprVPN cell fast--wifi very fast--PC fast

Never connect

Always show error... Not working at all. Worked like once a month. And China server is virtual IP from US!

Amazing

This app is very nice to make better privacy its very easy to me

Fantastic

This app is better than others apps

Very Nice

This app is very nice and very attractive design quality of utilities here wow

Constantly Disconnecting

Works great but its always disconnecting. I shouldnt have to always come back to the app to make a connection. Thats lame. Please fix it.

Keeps disconnecting

This app is not bad, but the connection issues are just terrible and have not improved in the last few months at all. I cant tell you how often I had to interrupt watching a US tv show from Europe because the connection dropped. Months later now, connections keep dropping and they wont let me out of my subscription. When you contact customer support, the always quote the same disconnection document from their website, which really doesnt solve anything. I tried several other VPNs, they are all much more reliable and dont disconnect - so Im certain the problem is from their side. So PLEASE fix the constant disconnection issues on iPad...
